One of the activities at the beginning of the autumn season is to go and pick apples, and in the absence of these, you can’ always pick raspberries, autumn strawberries, sunflower seeds, peppers and pumpkins! Of course, the availability change from year to year, as the harvest varies on the weather that we have had in previous months. But anyways, many of these places have activities, to do for the youngest, like a small zoo with llamas and goats, adventures to do on hay bales, or for the more adventurous there’s the chance of do the maize in the corn field, while solving puzzles! However, you usually go in a weekend with family or friends, there are several places that offer to harvest apples (and here we are in North America, the variety ‘apples are different, interesting and tasty, even every apple has a card with possible uses, whether to eat it raw, cakes, dehydrated …!) must be ready to take home several pounds of harvest, and is usual to also buy cakes freshly baked with apples or berries ! In short, if you are in Canada at this time of year, this is one thing to do absolutely!

Una delle attivita’ all’inizio della stagione autunnale e’ quella di andare a raccogliere mele, e in mancanza di queste, si puo’ sempre raccogliere lamponi, fragole autunnali, semi di girasole, peperoni e zucche! Naturalmente la disponibilita’ varia da anno in anno, dato che il raccolto varia dalle condizioni atmosferiche che ci sono state nei mesi precedenti. Ma in tutti casi molti di questi posti hanno attivita; da fare per i piu’ piccoli, come un piccolo zoo di lama e caprette, avennture da fare sulle balle di fieno, o per i piu’ avventurosi c’e’ la possibilita’ di fare un labirinto nel mais risolvendo degli indovinelli! Comunque di solito ci si prede su un fine settimana e si va in compagna, ci sono diversi posti che offrono di fare raccolta di mele ( e qui siamo in nord America, le varieta’ di mele sono diverse, interessanti e gustose, addirittura ogni mela ha una scheda con i possibili utilizzi, se da mangiare a crudo, per torte, disidratate…!) Bisogna essere pronti a portare a casa diversi Kg di raccolto, e di solito e’ possibile anche comprare Torte di mele o bacche appena sfornate! Insomma, se siete in Canada in questo periodo, e’ una cosa da fare assolutamente!
